Al-Fatihah (The Opening)
إِنَّ اللّهَ لَذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَلَـكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَشْكُرُونَ
“Behold, God is indeed limitless in His bounty unto mankind, but most of them are ungrateful.” -Quran [10:60]
I’ve noticed parents constantly talk about their unsuccessful children in a manner that follows “oh but how do I show my face to the community, how do I tell them you’re gonna work retail the rest of your life and you’re not gonna be a doctor, engineer, or lawyer?”
I wonder if these parents think about how we’ll show our face to Allah swt when these same children don’t pray on time, read the Quran, or study the religion….

The Daily Hadith
Prophet (sal Allahu `alayhi wa sallam – peace be upon him). He said in one hadith, “…If there were a river at the door of one of you in which he takes a bath five times a day, would any soiling remain on him?” They replied, “No soiling would [be] left on him.” He (s) said, ” That is the five (daily) prayers.
