Best way to enjoy these last ten days of Ramadan is not just countless hours of salaat at night, but actually getting EMOTIONALLY involved with your Deen, crying to Allah swt for forgiveness, praying for those around you that are suffering, being grateful for what you have, reading the Quran and putting WEIGHT ON EVERY WORD as if it touches your soul like nothing else would. EMOTIONALLY attach yourself to the Quran these last few days, don’t just read it…. try to feel the stories within the Quran, the lessons learned, the ayahs and ayahs of Allah’s mercy, Allah swt’s blessings…what we have, and what we should aim for.
Look around you, the world needs your prayers, get down on your knees not just for yourself…but for your religion, for your family, for your country, for Gaza, for Egypt, for Syria, for women suffering every where, for those poor children being abused, those playgrounds covered in blood, Masjids being torn apart…pray, pour your heart out, cry out every thought you EVER wanted to say out loud. He not only knows whats in your heart, HE WILL STILL TAKE THE TIME TO LISTEN. Subhanallah.
May Allah swt grants us peace within our hearts, showers blessings upon us, strengthens those that are suffering, and accept all our prayers. I hope these last few days go well for all of you InshaAllah!
